Wallpaper Removal

If you're going to remove wallpaper, you'll encounter two kinds of wallpaper. There is strippable wallpaper which is a newer vinyl wallpaper and is made so the user can simply peel it off.

Older wallpaper on the other hand is typically more difficult to remove. You will need a chemical solution that penetrates the paper and softens the adhesive beneath the paper or fabric. You probably won't get all the glue the first time. You'll need to go back and remove a few patches here and there, soaking each spot with some remover solution to soften it up. This process can be time consuming and frustrating. At Atlanta wallcovering we use a proprietary method to remove the old wallpaper without leaving your walls frayed or damaged. This process is much more gentle and safer.
